Order copies of birth, death or marriage certificates. We hold a number of registers that record local births, deaths and marriages dating back to 1837.

Bridgend County Borough Council is the burial authority for eleven cemeteries and three churchyards.

Same-sex couples have been able to form a civil partnership since December 2004. A couple wishing to become civil partners must give 'notice' to the registrar in the area where they live.

Coychurch Crematorium has two chapels, Crallo and Coity Chapel. There is also a variety of memorials available including the Columbaria vaults, tree dedication and vase blocks.
