Fees for birth, death or marriage certificates

There are 4 different payment options per certificate:

• £12.50 - Standard Service Collection - Your certificate will be available for collection from the Civic Offices in Bridgend 2 weeks after payment.
  
  
• £15.00 - Standard Service Posted - Your certificate will be posted 2^nd class within 7 days of payment.
  
  
• £38.50 - Priority Service Collection - Your certificate will be available to collect from the Civic Offices in Bridgend within 1 working day of payment. We will arrange a time when you order the certificate.
  
  
• £41.00 - Priority Service Posted - Your certificate will be posted 1^st class within 1 working day of payment.

Please be aware, we are unable to offer any guarantees on the delivery of your certificate if you choose a Royal Mail delivery rather than the collection option. If it is lost in the post, you will need to re-apply and pay again. 

Fees for marriages and civil partnerships

• Fee for notice of marriage or civil partnership 
  • Not subject to immigration control: £46.50 each
  • If subject to immigration control: £63 each

  • Monday and Tuesday: £62
    
    
• Fees for Marriage or Civil Partnership on Swit Penybont (maximum 50 guests)
  • Monday to Saturday: £275
    
    
• Fees for marriage or civil partnership in a licensed venue:
  • Monday to Friday: £525
  • Saturday: £555
  • Sunday: £631
  • Bank holidays: £704
    
    
• Attendance at a Church or Chapel: £114.50

All notices of marriage and civil partnerships are by appointment only. Your notice will cost £46.50 per person if you are not subject to immigration control but may be £63 if you are subject to immigration control. Please pay by Debit or Credit card.
