The Vale of Glamorgan Shared Lives service is available in the Vale of Glamorgan and Bridgend County Borough.
It is a varied service with our carers providing support from their own home for individuals with additional support needs.
If you have a spare bedroom and are looking for a new way of working from home. You could be a part of our fantastic team.
We recruit, assess, train and support our carers, and 'match' them with individuals. We monitor placements so that both carers and individuals benefit.
We offer:
- Long Term Placements
- Short Term Placements
- Emergency Placements for up to 28 days
- Respite placements
Who can be a Shared Lives Carer?
Shared Lives recruit carers from all walks of life. We welcome any age or background, single people, couples and families with or without children.
You do not need any formal qualifications as we will provide all the training you require.
We ask carers for complete openness about their life, background and experiences.
We will make various checks and seek professional and personal references.
