Wildlife to look out for during daily exercise

As spring arrives, Bridgend County Borough Council’s countryside management officer is asking residents to keep an eye and ear out for wildflowers and wildlife in their own green spaces or during their daily exercise.

Over 7,000 free school meals being provided

Around 7,200 packed lunches are being provided to children eligible for free school meals on a weekly basis in Bridgend county borough during the coronavirus outbreak.

Rest bay access road closure

The road to Rest Bay beach in Porthcawl is to be temporarily closed with access strictly limited to residents that require use of the road to access their own properties, following concerns over groups of people gathering on the beach.
