Home care worker

Supported living is about people with a disability living in their own home, making choices about their lives and getting support to live the way they want to.

We are seeking to recruit support staff to work in our supported living services across the Bridgend County Borough. We are looking for enthusiastic, creative and flexible people who are committed to empowering people with a learning disability to be involved in choices and decisions about all aspects of their lives. You will have a sensitive attitude which portrays an understanding of the issues faced by people with a disability.

Mobile Response Worker

Community Reablement Team

This is an exciting time for a support worker to join our energetic and committed joint Health and Social Services multi- disciplinary team based within the Community Care Resource Team, at Trem-Y-Mor Resource Centre in Bettws.

The Community Resource Team comprise of the following: Acute Clinical Team and Mobile Response Service, Bridge link Telecare Service, Reablement, Enabling Homecare, Community Independence and Wellbeing Team, Community Occupational Therapy and Integrated Community Equipment Service.

Support worker

Community reablement team

20 hours per week 

£10,569 per annum

The Community Resource Team is an integrated health and social care service which provides a range of short-term interventions to people in their own homes to promote their independence.

You will play a key part in supporting the CRT Services achieving its aims to support people to continue to live in their chosen environment by preventing avoidable hospital or care home admission and to facilitate early discharge from hospital. You will be providing Domiciliary & Therapy support across the service.

Residential worker / Driver

Bakers Way

£9,335 - £9,713 per annum

16 hours per week

Bakers Way respite service in Bridgend provides short-term respite service for children and young people with disabilities/complex health needs aged from birth to 18 years.
The position is for a Residential worker, the job will be; to provide all aspects of care, on an individual and group basis, including preparing young people for independence. As a Link Worker you will be involved in helping to implement individual care plans, and undertake household duties as well as some individual tasks.
