Collections: Fortnightly (between March and November)
Garden waste collections are available to Bridgend County Borough residents.
Collections of garden waste take place every two weeks between March and November (17 March - 14 November 2025)
Please place your garden waste at the kerbside between 7pm the evening before and 7am on the day of your collection.
Please note: Your garden waste collection day will be advised with the delivery of your sacks.
If you move house within the county borough your collection can be moved to your new address.
You can also recycle your garden waste free of charge at your nearest recycling centre.
There is an annual charge of £51.30 per household, or £46.17 for pensioners.
Each household that registers receives two garden sacks for collecting and storing their garden waste ready for their collection day.
If you have previously subscribed to the garden waste service, you can opt out of receiving new waste bags when registering this year.
Additional sacks can be purchased for an additional annual fee of £6.31. This charge is non-refundable.
