Recycling and waste collections in Bridgend County Borough usually take place between 7am and 5pm.
If you think your collection may have been missed, please check below for updates and advice.
Please do not report a missed collection until after 5pm on your scheduled collection day or if listed below as missed. This is to give crews enough time to have completed collections in your area.

Friday 10 July 2026
Waste and recycling collections in Bridgend County Borough will start earlier than usual on Friday 10 July to help protect the crews from rising temperatures and to also reduce the chances of any uncompleted rounds.
Collections are expected to start from 6am and all residents are advised to put their waste and recycling out the night before their usual collection
There are no anticipated delays to collections. If you have a missed collection, please report via the portal.
Report a missed collection
If your waste or recycling has been missed and is not listed above, you can report a missed collection online:
- Enter your postcode and select ‘Look up property’
- Select your address
- Select ‘Recycling collection’ or ‘Refuse sacks collection’
- Select ‘Report missed collection’
- Enter your name, phone number and email address.
- Select ‘Confirm Request’ to complete the request.
- Please leave your bags/containers out for collection.
