Support for commercial bus services in 2024-25

Bridgend County Borough Council has confirmed that Bus Network Grant funding for 2024-25 will be sufficient to cover recently tendered commercial bus services which may otherwise not have been able to continue after 31 March.

Local active travel plans are boosted by Welsh Government funding

Bridgend County Borough Council is set to receive £1.5m to facilitate new and improved active travel routes across the county borough. Enhancements will include building new active travel routes, consultation work for future scheme developments, as well as promotion work.
