Top tips for staying cool as temperatures rise

With temperatures expected to reach as high as the mid-thirties and an amber weather warning in place for much of Wales between Sunday 17 – Tuesday 19 July, residents of Bridgend County Borough are being urged to take extra care over the next few days.

Children’s play areas upgraded in £500k investment

Work has begun on a £500k investment programme aimed at refurbishing play areas across the county borough and replacing out-of-date equipment. The work is being undertaken in a series of contracts managed by the Green Spaces section.
