Positive outlook for window business following council’s funding support

A local window business who has recently moved their premises to Bridgend County Borough have been awarded funding and support from Bridgend County Borough Council.
Futureglaze Windows Ltd is a family-run business that has been operating since 1988, supplying and installing a wide range of UPVC and aluminium windows and doors. They also offer services to install guttering systems, fascia board and repair services for windows and doors from other companies alongside their own.
For over 30 years, the business operated in the Rhondda from Gelli Industrial Estate, but expansion was no longer feasible as the company grew, which resulted in them relocating to Ewenny Industrial Estate in Bridgend.
The company was awarded a Shared Prosperity Fund Business Development Grant in January 2026 to support the move into their new premises, enabling them to equip the office and showroom with the necessary IT, furniture and storage for the factory. A total of eight full-time jobs have been safeguarded and two full-time roles have been created as a result of this funding.
The future plans for the business include increased turnover by attracting more customers to the new premises and showroom, allowing them to experience their full range of products firsthand. They also plan to grow their partnerships with local authorities and organisations, including Care & Repair (particularly the Bridgend branch), local letting agents, care homes, and similar sectors.
By expanding their customer base and strengthening these relationships, they aim to secure a steady stream of contract work and further establish their presence within the region.
