Cabinet approves 2022-23 Corporate Safeguarding Report

The Cabinet of Bridgend County Borough Council has approved the 2022-23 Annual Corporate Safeguarding Report, which includes statistics of the number of adult and children safeguarding referrals this year with comparisons to previous years, how the council has worked collaboratively with the regional safeguarding board, as well as the new models of practice that have been implemented.

New campaign launched to highlight school catering jobs

The council has launched a new recruitment campaign highlighting the many jobs currently on offer in its Catering Service. As the council continues the roll-out of the Universal Primary Free School Meal initiative to primary school pupils across the county borough, more roles in the service have become available.
