Small business relief
Business premises with a rateable value of up to £6,000 get 100% relief.
Those with a rateable value between £6,001 and £12,000 have relief on a tapered basis from 100% to zero.

Eligibility for relief
Occupied properties get business relief automatically, and the demand notice will show this. Where a ratepayer is liable for over two properties on a single local non-domestic rating list, only up to two such properties can have relief.
Certain types of business property such as those based on the use of premises must tell us about their eligibility before relief can be granted. Please contact us for more information.
