Our support services

We provide many services to help support special guardians, and birth parents. This includes:

• financial support
• home visits
• advice, support and guidance either over the phone, email or via a visit
• bi-monthly support groups with other special guardians
• a fostering training calendar which addresses issues such as paediatric basic first aid, child protection and attachment and secure base
• placement support to help develop skills to manage difficult or challenging behaviours which a child who has experienced trauma can present with
• a listening ear for birth parents
• communication with other organisations on your behalf
