Resue Shops – Partnership

Bridgend County Borough Council, in partnership with Plan B Management Solutions and community-based charity Groundwork Wales, has established two reuse shops on site at Pyle and Maesteg Community Recycling Centres.

All proceeds from the sale of items support Groundwork Wales, which supports practical action to create a fair and green future in which people, places and nature thrive.

This partnership enables support with affordable household items, whilst reducing items going to landfill.

Residents can either donate or buy items in good condition, such as household furniture and electrical goods that would otherwise be diverted to landfill.

When wanting to leave donations on any days when the shops are closed, residents can speak to site staff who will take them and store them securely.

Please do not leave waste outside or around the doors of the reuse shops. You could be prosecuted for fly tipping.
