Collection updates
Recycling and waste collections in Bridgend County Borough usually take place between 7am and 5pm.
If you think your collection may have been missed, please check below for updates and advice.
Please do not report a missed collection until after 5pm on your scheduled collection day or if listed below as missed. This is to give crews enough time to have completed collections in your area.
Monday 5 January 2026
Due to adverse weather conditions, some waste and recycling collections may be delayed for health and safety reasons.
Residents are advised to leave any recycling out until the end of their collection day- if missed, please take back in and put out again on your next collection day.
For any missed refuse collections, please leave out until collected, which should be before the close of the week.

Report a missed collection
If your waste or recycling has been missed and is not listed above, you can report a missed collection online:
- Enter your postcode and select ‘Look up property’
- Select your address
- Select ‘Recycling collection’ or ‘Refuse sacks collection’
- Select ‘Report missed collection’
- Enter your name, phone number and email address.
- Select ‘Confirm Request’ to complete the request.
- Please leave your bags/containers out for collection.
