We are currently receiving a high volume of calls regarding garden waste collection dates. Please be aware that your garden waste will be collected on the same day as your refuse collection. Any customers whose garden waste collections are not on the same day as their refuse collections, will be contacted directly by Plan B.

Bridgend County Borough offers many opportunities for ALL children:

Play Streets
Residents can apply to close their street for two hours a month, creating a space for children to play out under the supervision of their parent.

Activity PODS
The ethos of the Activity Pod is based on the belief that play is critically important to children and has a key role in the development of physical, social, emotional and creative skills.

Family Information Service
Free, confidential and impartial service offering information, advice and guidance on different services for children, young people and their families.

Flying Start
The programme aims to improve outcomes for children and give them a 'Flying Start' in readiness for when they commence school.

Halo Leisure Centres
Halo Leisure manage eight leisure centres and swimming pools across Bridgend County Borough. Regular activities include, swimming, racket sports, soft play, karate, netball, gymnastics and much more!

Awen
Awen manage a range of cultural facilities and activities in the county borough, which include theatres, libraries, community centres, Bryngarw House and Country Park and two work-based projects for adults with learning disabilities.
