Plasnewydd Flying Start
Plasnewydd Flying Start is based within Plasnewydd Primary School close to the town centre.
The setting has its own dedicated entrance, providing convenient and secure access for families.
The setting offers a warm, welcoming environment where children are supported to learn, play and develop at their own pace while becoming familiar with an educational environment that supports a smooth transition as they grow.
"I am so happy my child had the chance to come to Plasnewydd, she has progressed a lot in her development and speech since attending. Her confidence has improved, she wouldn’t leave my side before staring playgroup now she is happy to be around others."
At our Flying Start settings, we provide funded part time childcare for children aged 2-3 years old who are eligible.
They are able to access high quality provision to support learning and development through child led play, in safe, secure and welcoming environment.
We are funded by Welsh Government to offer 12.5 hours of funded childcare Monday - Friday term time only.
