Successful roll out of resurfacing works across the county borough

Locations across the county borough have benefitted from road resurfacing works. 

The list includes the following roads:

• A48 Ewenny roundabout to Picton Road roundabout
• Brackla Street

Pencoed

• A473 Bocam Park to junction 35 Eastbound, Cowbridge Way

Blackmill

• A4061 Blackmill Village, south of the village to the traffic lights

Brynmenyn

• A4065 Abergarw Road, River Bridge to New Road
• A4065 Abergarw Road, at the Fox and Hounds, to Haulfryn

Sarn

• B4280 - near the cattery, Heol Laethog
• Heol Canola

Nantymoel

• Park Street

Pyle

• A48 Marlas Road to Heol Mostyn

Aberkenfig

• B4281 Ty Cribbwr Hill

With a budget of approximately £1.5m, the road resurfacing programme for 2023 to 2024 is currently being prepared.

Works are scheduled to begin in summer 2023, subject to contractors’ programme, and will continue through the summer.
