Maesteg on the Menu: Free opportunity for local food and drink businesses
Friday 22 August 2025
Maesteg town centre is getting ready for a flavour-packed autumn as the Market Square hosts a Pop-Up Food and Drink Market on Saturday 25 October 2025.
The one-day event will bring together the very best of Bridgend County Borough’s food and drink producers – from hot street food and artisan bakes to sweet treats, drinks and fresh local produce. Running from 12pm to 6pm, visitors can expect a lively afternoon of food, community and atmosphere as the square lights up with stalls and the buzz of an autumn celebration.
In a major boost for small businesses, stalls at the event are completely free of charge. The opportunity is open exclusively to food and drink businesses based in Bridgend County Borough, making it a true showcase of local talent. Successful vendors will also be promoted as part of the event’s marketing campaign, giving them added visibility in the lead-up to the day.
“I am delighted to welcome and celebrate the many food and drink providers we have here in Bridgend County Borough. This event will shine a light on their talent and creativity, and I very much hope it will be a success. I would also like to thank my colleagues in the Economic Development and Enterprise team for creating this exciting opportunity for businesses to showcase their work and for helping bring Maesteg town centre to life.”
Expressions of Interest open at 4pm on Friday 22 August 2025 and close at 12pm on Friday 19 September 2025. Businesses will be contacted by Friday 26 September to confirm whether they have been offered a place.
To apply, businesses should complete an Expression of Interest form.
