“It is truly inspiring to witness the collaboration of so many individuals and organisations in promoting greater awareness about dementia and showcasing the extensive support resources available. My father sadly passed away last month after a battle with Alzheimer’s and the support that we have had from the health staff has been nothing short of amazing. These events are so important for people around the county borough to show that they are not alone and that there is support available for you and your loved one. Identifying dementia early can significantly impact the lives of those affected. One of the primary goals of this week-long series of events and activities is to help individuals identify some of the most common symptoms and learn how they can seek additional support and guidance.”
