Time to Talk: Budget

As in previous years, we need to identify significant cuts, currently almost £5m. We need to achieve this by reducing our spending and/or increasing our income, to ensure we’re able to set a balanced budget in February 2026.

Public asked to submit views ahead of council debate on flooding and impact of extreme weather

Residents of Bridgend County Borough are being invited to submit their views and opinions via their local elected members ahead of a council debate on the issues and problems that can be caused by flooding and increasing incidents of extreme weather.

Refurbished netball and basketball courts open in Maesteg

Refurbished community basketball and netball courts have reopened for Maesteg residents and Caedu residents as part of a renovation project managed by Bridgend County Borough Council.
