Recycling and waste collections - There will be no collections on Monday 31 August, as a result all collections will be one day later than usual until Saturday 5 September.
Freedom of the Borough
The Freedom of the Borough is the most prestigious award we can give. It is symbolic of our regard for the person or body awarded.
We granted the Freedom of the Borough to the Royal Welsh on 30 August 2008, and to the Welsh Guards on 11 May 2011.
This gives both regiments the right to parade through the town centre with bayonets fixed and flags flying.
