Current Opportunities
BCBC offers suppliers and contractors a variety of opportunities to tender for good and services we require.
All opportunities over £25,000 are advertised on Sell2wales, if appropriate to do so. All opportunities over threshold are advertised on Sell2wales and Find a Tender service. All works opportunities over threshold are advertised in the OJEU via Sell2wales.
NB: All contractors looking for works opportunities must be registered on Constructionline before responding to any opportunities.
Contracts
BCBC maintains a Corporate Contract Register which provides a list of all the council’s current contracts. The aim of the register is to provide transparency and an indication of when existing contracts may be up for renewal. It also informs current and prospective suppliers and contractors of the wide range of goods, services and works the council looks to purchase.
The information in the register includes:
- Contract Category
- Expiry Date
- Extension Date (if applicable)
- Contract Manager
- Start Date
- Total Contract Value
- Main Contractor
This list is to demonstrate the Council’s contract’s. It does not provide any guarantee that like-for-like contracts will be advertised in future.
Frameworks
BCBC utilises a number of frameworks, both local and national, including frameworks from the Welsh Government Commercial Delivery scheme (formerly National Procurement Service).
We maintain a Frameworks Calendar showing the frameworks we use, any expiry dates and successful vendors for each one.
