The programme delivered enhanced support and training to voluntary, community and not-for-profit groups across the county borough.
This included:
- Developing and supporting impactful volunteering opportunities and increasing participation through supporting groups with recruitment, training, support and retention of volunteers.
- Strengthening governance and building capacity, ensuring groups and beneficiaries operate safe and compliant services through delivering a programme of tailored support, learning and development opportunities.
- Supporting sustainability and resilience by assisting with planning and linking to sustainable funding routes.
This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
