Course enrolment and fees
Book soon, as the registration deadline for courses is Wednesday 27 March. Most courses start in the week beginning Monday 1 April, but Skills for Life and Work courses start throughout April, May and June.
Enrol via telephone
To enrol via telephone, call 01656 642729. Telephone enrolments require a credit or debit card, and are only available Tuesday to Thursday 9am to 3.30pm.
Enrol in person
You can enrol for any course at our open enrolment sessions:

|Bridgend Civic Offices||Thursday 8 January||1pm to 2.30pm|
Please note, payment for courses at the enrolment sessions can only be made by cash or cheque. The cheque must be made out to ‘Bridgend County Borough Council’.

Please tell us if you want your sessions delivered in Welsh.
There are no formal entry requirements for our courses. We do not restrict access due to prior academic attainment, age, employment, location or any other grounds.

Courses are free for 16 to 18 year olds.
People who qualify for concession band 1 only pay £5 per course.
You are in concession band one if you claim or are a dependent of a claimant of:
- Job Seekers Allowance (JSA)
- Income Support (IS)
- Severe Disablement Benefit (SDB)
- Employment Support Allowance (ESA), which was previously known as Incapacity Benefit
- Guaranteed Pension Credit (PC)
Proof of identity
You must provide evidence that you receive the above benefits. Please bring current and up-to-date proof of eligibility when enrolling. Such evidence could include a bank statement or a recently dated award letter.
Important note for Agored Cymru courses
Agored Cymru accredits some of our courses. Courses don’t involve exams, but there is continuous assessment throughout with the creation of a portfolio. By enrolling on an Agored Cymru course, learners agree to complete the paperwork involved.
