Green Links Bridgend are hosting a range of events over the summer at nature reserves in Bridgend County Borough for Children aged 5 and over.

Bees and Butterflies Sunday 4th August  
10.30 – 12.00
Come and help us find out what’s buzzing in the woods! We’ll be looking for common butterflies, bees and other pollinators and spotting other signs of wildlife. No experience or knowledge necessary! Most suitable for adults and children over 10 years old.
Get to know your woodland Saturday 17th August
10.30 – 11.30
A gentle walk around Craig y Parcau to discover what makes this woodland a special place for both wildlife and people.

Most suitable for adults and children over 10 years old.

A relaxed morning for families to explore and learn about this special woodland together through activities and nature crafts. Each morning will include different activities and you are welcome to come along to one or all of the sessions. Most suitable for families with children aged between 5 - 10 years old.

Locks Common Nature Challenge Monday 5th and
Monday 19th August 11am – 2pm

Join us and explore the wonderful wildlife of Locks Common Nature Reserve. Take on a challenge and see if you can spot wildflowers, bees and birds in this special place. No booking needed – just come along! Suitable for adults and families.  You’ll find us on the top of the common about 300 yards left of the Lifeguard Station. Look out for the gazebos!

Most suitable for adults and children over 10 years old.
