Well-being of Future Generations
Welsh Government introduced a new law called the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015 in 2016.
It created goals for each authority to improve the economic, social, environmental and cultural well-being of their area:
- A prosperous Wales
- A resilient Wales
- A healthier Wales
- A more equal Wales
- A Wales of more cohesive communities
- A Wales of vibrant culture and thriving Welsh language
- A globally responsible Wales
The Act also legally requires each local authority to create a Public Service Board (PSB), we created ours on 1 April 2016.
