Ffordd Y Bryniau (33km, 21 Miles)

Most of this 21 mile Ridgeway walk is on open hilltops, but it drops through the forestry to cross the Ely Valley and rises again to the cobbled streets of the medieval town of Llantrisant.

Continuing eastwards it skirts the ramparts of Caerau Iron Age hill fort before crossing the valley of the Nant Myddlyn to the peace and tranquillity of Tyn-y-Coed Woods. This walk also provides fine views of Castell Coch and the Taff Gorge.
