Surfing

Porthcawl is at the heart of Wales' Golden Coast! A surfer's paradise stretching from Newton Bay on the Glamorgan Heritage Coast, to Sker Bay just north of Porthcawl and close to Kenfig National Nature Reserve.

The main surf beach is at Rest Bay, which is a European Blue Flag beach with its own Lifeguard station, car park, toilets and refreshments. Close by is the Royal Porthcawl Golf Club, Wales' finest links course.
