Swimming

Southern Wales' 'Golden Coast' has ten miles of glorious coastline that includes two European Blue Flag beaches and so is ideal for all water activities, including swimming.
The best beaches for swimming are at Trecco Bay, Sandy Bay, Coney Beach, Rest Bay, Pink Bay and Sker Bay.
A word of warning though. Take care at all times, as we have the second largest tidal difference in the world, and there are strong undercurrents along the coast at certain times of the day.
Follow the directions given by the lifeguards who will raise a red flag if bathing is considered dangerous.
If you would prefer to use a swimming pool, there are a number in the area, but check opening times locally.
