Local Development Plan (LDP) Alternative Sites Consultation
This consultation has now closed.
Introduction and Background
The council consulted on the LDP between July and September 2011.
As part of that process, individuals and organisations have submitted sites which they consider should either allocated in the Plan, removed from the Plan or amended in some way. These sites are called ‘Alternative Sites’.
The Council is required to consult on these sites to ascertain views on them. The Council is not promoting these sites for development / protection.
The Council consulted on the Alternative Sites between October and December 2011.
Where can I see the Alternative Sites?
- The Alternative Sites Register (which includes information of the sites submitted) can be read here.
- The Alternative Sites Statutory Notice can be viewed here.
What are the next steps?
The draft LDP, all accompanying information and all comments received during the consultation processes will be submitted to the Welsh Government and Planning Inspectorate Wales. They will then make arrangements for conducting an independent examination of the draft LDP in 2012.
