There are a number of fundraising methods used by charities including partnerships with commercial collection companies.
There are many genuine organisations collecting clothing or money for charity. However, please check clothing collection bags carefully as there are unauthorised companies operating in this area. If the organisation or charity does not appear on the above lists, please telephone the Licensing Section on 01656 643103 or email the details of the collection bag to licensing@bridgend.gov.uk
