Schools Budget Forum
In line with the ‘Schools Forums (Wales) Regulations 2003’ each local authority must have established a Schools Forum for their area. The Bridgend Schools Budget Forum was established under these regulations in December 2003. Membership of the Forum comprises school members (headteachers and governors) and non-school members (can include local authority officers, trade union members, members of diocesan authorities). The total number of non-school members must not exceed one quarter of the total membership of the Forum. The Forum meets at least three times annually in each financial year, generally in line with the timetable for setting the Council’s budget.
