Community Focused School Grants

Two Community Focused School Grants will be available during this financial year (April 2010 - March 2011) to assist schools and their partners to develop additional services, activities and facilities for children, young people their families and the wider community.

Form A

Childcare start up grant (3 - 8 year old) to support schools and their partners to develop new childcare for 3 - 8 year olds (pdf version)

Form B

Childcare development grant (3 - 8 year olds) to support schools and their partners to develop wraparound childcare for 3 - 8 year olds - Maximum of £5,000 (pdf version)

Form C

Start up grant (9 -14 year olds) to support schools and their partners to establish out of school hours care and learning provision for 9 - 14 year olds Maximum of £10,000 - pdf version

Form D

Extra Hands Funding - closing date 13^th December

Form E

Development Grant (9 - 14 year olds) to support schools and their partners to further develop and expand out of school hours care and learning provision for 9 - 14 year olds - Maximum of £2,500 - pdf version

Third round

Deadline for submission

January 21^st 2011

However, only schools and partners that have made a commitment to CFS, by returning the relevant 'Sign up Sheets' will be eligible to apply.
