‘Families First’ is a national 5 year programme developed as a key response to the Welsh Government’s Child Poverty Strategy. Families First is an innovation programme that promotes the development by local authority areas of effective multi-agency systems and support, with a clear emphasis on prevention and early intervention for families, particularly those living in (or at the risk of) poverty.
The development and implementation of an integrated working approach is embedded within the Families First Programme which will be taken forward locally through the implementation of the Bridgend Families First Action Plan which can be accessed via the link below.
