What is the Detached Work Programme?
Detached youth work provides opportunities for young people aged 11-25 year olds in Bridgend and the surrounding area, who currently do not access any form of youth provision.
What does the project aim to achieve?
The main aims of the detached project are to:-
Lead young people in the development of their intellectual, social and physical well-being |
Work with young people who may/may not be using existing youth services/ facilities for whatever reason |
Work with young people on their home ground - street corners, parks, cafes, pubs, shopping centre etc. |
