Carers
A carer is someone who supports a relative, partner or friend who cannot manage on their own. You do not have to live with the person, nor do you have to be the only person who does the caring.
Carers are people of all ages, including young people who provide substantial care to support a relative, partner or friend and the care they provide is unpaid.
There is a Carers Forum within Bridgend County Borough which offers help, advice and support to carers of all ages.
