Welcome to Bridgend Social Care Workforce Development Partnership (SCWDP) web pages.
The Bridgend Social Care Workforce Development Partnership was set up in 2004. The aim of the partnership is to promote the Welsh Assembly Government ethos of ’one sector – one workforce’ that is appropriately skilled and qualified.
Membership
Membership of the partnership is free and is available to any organisation providing social care services from the statutory, independent and third sectors within Bridgend County Borough. Please click here to complete the Bridgend SCWDP registration form.

- Access to training courses / programmes
- Invitation to partnership events
- Receipt of mail shots and newsletters to keep you up to date with developments in the sector on a local, regional and national basis
Partnership Arrangements
The partnership arrangements are coordinated by an executive strategic group, comprising of representatives from the statutory, independent and third sector.

The strategic group has responsibility for the development and implementation of a rolling Five Year Strategic Plan.
