We welcome any enquiries although we are particularly keen to hear from carers who are interested in providing:
|
Foster care for children aged 10+ |
|
Foster care for siblings |
|
Support care – planned overnight (maximum two overnight stays per week) for children within vulnerable families to prevent children coming into care |
Fostering is extremely rewarding and fulfilling but making the choice to become a foster carer is a major decision. Hopefully the related links on fostering will help you make your decision.

Tax information for foster carers
Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has created an e-learning package specifically for foster carers. It has been tailored to meet the needs of this group and includes what they need to know and think about when they start fostering children, with regards to tax issues. It also covers foster carers’ relief and how to calculate it.
Click here to access the e-learning package.
