Food Safety - Investigations, Inspections And Sampling
Whilst the making of legislation is the responsibility of central government, the enforcement of food law is primarily the responsibility of the local authority. In this council a team of Environmental Health Officers (EHO’s), Technical Officers and Trading Standards Officers (TSO’s) within the public protection department monitor the quality of food produced, distributed and sold within Bridgend County Borough.
