Bridgend county borough enjoys a high level of public transport provision and is also served by bus and coach links to other regional centres throughout Wales and the UK. Here you will be able to find information on Bridgend bus station, local bus services and long-distance coach services that operate from, and within, the county borough.
Local Bus Services
Most areas of the county borough are served by a minimum half-hourly bus service during the day while evening services operate on broadly hourly frequencies. For the majority of local bus services, Bridgend is the hub to which services are provided but there are cross-boundary services which originate in other local authority areas, such as the Aberdare to Porthcawl service 172, or X3 service which operates from Swansea/Neath/Port Talbot to Maesteg. Within the towns of Maesteg and Porthcawl there are discrete networks of bus routes concentrated on each town centre which are in addition to the cross-boundary services provided.
Further information about local bus services is available from Traveline Cymru either from their website or via text message. More details about these services can be found on the Bus Information page.
