Road Safety Drama’s and Performances
Drama is an excellent way of teaching road safety to children and students of all ages.
Regular productions are held in primary and secondary schools across the authority.

The Gregory Brothers Road Safety and Environmental Road Show
This show is commissioned jointly by Road Safety and Waste Management. Primary aged Children enjoy an award winning show and learn about crucial road safety and environmental issues. The show is performed by The Gregory Brothers, with the help of Bridget the Bee and Eco Eli. Children of all ages enjoy the 45 minute show that aims to raise awareness of road safety and environmental issues in a fun and entertaining way. |

The Gregory Brothers show educates children about travelling safely in a car, the green cross code, recycling, the importance of looking after the environment and not dropping litter. The show includes plenty of audience participation with lots of catchy songs that the children can learn to help them remember these important messages. This show is available in Welsh and English |

Set inside the world of Law and order, ‘The Courtroom’ is a highly interactive performance. It takes the audience into a hugely entertaining, larger than life ‘Courtroom’, using the audience as jury members and people in the court. |

The drama follows the story of a young boy who walked out into the road from between parked cars, whilst texting on his mobile phone. As a result, the car had to swerve to avoid him and hits an oncoming car.
Tragically, a young girl in the back seat is not wearing a seat belt and was thrown through the windscreen.
The exciting storyline has children enthralled and the performance covers topics such as seatbelts, pedestrian crossings and crossing between parked cars. This performance is aimed at 7-11 year old children.
Jugglestruck’s Road Safety Shows are action packed, fun filled and crammed with education. They use juggling, magic, puppets and comedy to illustrate road safety issues. Jugglestruck perform two separate shows, one is designed for infants and the other for juniors.
APE Theatre’s production of Mark Wheeler’s award winning drink drive documentary pulls no punches as it tells the harrowing tale of a young woman who kills her sister in an alcohol related road accident. The performance is followed by workshops and has a target age group of 15 and above.
