Welsh for Adults
The University of Glamorgan's Welsh for Adults Centre, in partnership with Bridgend College, currently provides over 50 Welsh courses in over 20 venues throughout Bridgend County Borough.
Our students learn Welsh for a variety of reasons, including needing the language at work; supporting children; wanting to speak Welsh to fellow members of a chapel, choir, rugby club or other society; to follow Welsh television programmes; or just for general socialising and enjoyment.
A great variety of extracurricular activities are provided in cooperation with Menter Bro Ogwr (welsh language initiative), such as day trips, coffee mornings, fun for the family days, Eisteddfodau, learners' luncheons, book clubs and much more.
