Courses we offer for 2008-2009...
Bridgend Adult Community Learning offers a wide range of course-based activities providing opportunities in many areas such as art; beauty and holistic therapies, computers, cookery, crafts, dance, flower arranging, languages, music, personal development, digital photography, social studies, textile crafts, woodcraft and yoga and relaxation.
Other opportunities...
To provide a wider range of opportunities including Welsh classes, horticulture lectures and a summer school experience we work in collaboration with other organisations specifically Bridgend College and the University of Glamorgan.
All members of society over the age of 16 are encouraged to join our community learning programmes. Charges are kept low and concessions are granted where appropriate. The Adult Community Learning Service also links closely with the Youth Service in offering accredited courses for young people who need additional chances to gain credits for their learning.
In partnership with other adult learning providers in Bridgend County Borough we have also produced a new brochure which will tell you about the full range of adult learning opportunities in the area. Download the Community Learning in Partnership brochure here.
