This course is suitable for those who have already done the previous modules of Computers for the Terrified or who already have a basic knowledge of using a computer. Over the eight weeks you will cover the basics of word-processing, spreadsheets and databases to enable you to produce more professional-looking documents, whether at home or work.

Digital Imaging Beginners - Module 3
Free to Bridges into Work participants
This course incorporates image/photographic manipulation and editing, i.e. red eye, cropping and montages. You will also be shown how to use a generic scanner in order to transfer images from hard copy to digital format to be held on your PC.
Please note that this course does not include camera features/functions or photographic composition. You must be computer literate as this course will not cover the basics of using a computer.

Using Desktop publishing programmes, you too can create posters, flyers or leaflets to advertise events or to create a more professional newsletter. This class is for those who know nothing in relation to web design. This course has been designed for those who wish to learn how to design a functioning web site. It will take you through the stages from conception-designing-building. You will learn how to insert hyperlinks, the use of colour and the difference between good and bad design.
