BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH ASSOCIATION OF SCHOOL GOVERNORS |
Bridgend Governors Association is a body of volunteer governors. The Association works very closely with the Personnel & Governors Support Unit to promote the competence and effectiveness of governing bodies and to explore educational opportunities within and beyond the County Borough. One governor from the Association attends the management committee of Governors Wales and provides feedback to governors in the Association meetings. The management committee currently consists of:

Clerk – Melanie Treharne (Governor Support)
5 Governors from Secondary Sector
5 Governors from Primary Sector
1 Co-opted Member
They meet 3-4 times per year to discuss educational issues, policies and any queries asked by governors or governing bodies.
