Diabetic needle collections
The council has always collected and disposed of used diabetic needles. Legislation has altered so that pharmacies and doctor's surgeries will now not accept used needles.
Diabetics now need to make full use of the council's collection service to dispose of their sharps box by calling the council's Clean Up The County helpline on (01656) 643443.
