How do I terminate my garage tenancy?

To terminate the tenancy of a garage a period of one months notice must be given. This can be arranged by contacting the Property Department in writing stating the date you would like the garage site/base to be terminated.

Any rental arrears must be cleared before the termination can be accepted. If you fall behind with the rent at any time, the Council may issue a “Notice to Quit” and you will be asked to clear the outstanding debt. The garage/site must be left in an acceptable condition.
