Pencoed Regeneration Strategy and Action Plan
The Development Group is leading on the preparation of a regeneration strategy and action plan for Pencoed.
Development Control
This section deals with planning applications; advertisement applications; mineral applications; Listed Building consents; Conservation Area consents; Planning Appeals; planning enforcement complaints; general searches and Tree Preservation Orders.
Development Planning
This section deals with Development Plan preparation and monitoring, major land use policy issues, including regeneration, planning statistics, Development Briefs, regional and sub regional liaison including mineral and waste matters, and G.I.S. and Ordnance Survey issues.
Building Control
Building regulations are a set of minimum requirements designed to secure the health, safety and welfare of people in and around buildings, fuel and energy conservation and improved access and facilities for disabled people in England and Wales. There is a legal requirement to notify your local authority building control department if you intend to carry out any building work that is covered by the Building Regulations 2000.
