Bookstart Book Crawl
There is no lower age limit on membership of the libraries of Bridgend Library and Information Service. Babies and toddlers are welcome in all our libraries. A wide range of board and picture books are available for you to share with your baby. Although we hope you will encourage your child to look after library books, we will understand about "little accidents". We won't expect them to be quiet and we'll understand if they run around. There are no overdue charges on children's books and no charges to request a book in a child's name. |

The Bookstart Book Crawl aims to encourage parents to bring their children aged 0-4 years to their local library and enrol them as library members. On joining the library a child will receive a FREE book and a Book Crawl sticker collector's card. On four subsequent library visits they receive a sticker. Once they have collected four stickers they will receive a beautifully illustrated certificate. |
Introduce your baby to the "library habit" and give them a good start in life.
